I invite you to visit my hometown. My hometown has a famous specialty tree that everyone knows near and far. It is Bac Giang lychee tree.
The soil in my hometown is not very fertile, but it is very suitable for lychee trees. The first lychee tree was planted in Luc Ngan, so far it has been present everywhere there are gravel hills in my hometown. From a distance, each litchi tree looks like a green umbrella, and the whole litchi garden looks like an army parachuting from the plane to the ground. Up close, looking at the litchi garden is really eye-catching. The litchi tree closes its canopy, intersects branches, and has a round canopy, spreading like a plate of sticky rice.
In spring, lychee begins to flower. Flowers in clusters, ivory white. Mass flowering fabric. Every branch has flowers, every tree blooms, the whole garden blooms. Under the spring sun, the lychee flower garden covered a whole hill with white. Honey bees are welcome to come here to collect honey. Bees buzzing all day in the lychee garden. Anyone who entered the lychee garden, his clothes were also covered with nectar. The lychee gardens in my hometown are ten years old. The trunk of the lychee tree was as big as a banana tree. The trunk is ocher brown, full of horizontal slits. Litchi growers do this so that lychee plants flower at the right time and give a high harvest. The branches are strong and healthy. Lychee leaves are rhombus-shaped, dark green, with no deciduous season all year round.
After the spring rains, the sun was brighter, the lychee fruit. Each cluster of flowers from the previous day is now a bunch of fruit, the white color of the flower has given way to a light green color mixed with the color of the leaves. The new litchi fruit is only the size of a grain of rice, ten days later it is as big as the tip of a chopstick. If you don't notice for a few days, you'll see it's as big as a finger. When the rice plants in the field went up to the field, we looked up at the litchi garden and saw that the fruit turned pale yellow. And the right season to harvest apricot rice is in the season of ripe litchi. The bunches of litchi ripen very quickly. The litchi garden gradually turns red. Passing through the litchi garden, I smelled the sweet smell of nectar, the scent of ripe litchi. Each bunch of fruit usually has a few dozen lychees. The rough skin of the lychee has thorns, when ripe, the spines are less sharp, those thorns are dark red. When the lychee is ripe, the bunches of fruit fall down, as if the lychee branch is no longer strong enough to support the lychee fruit.
The litchi garden is full of ripe fruits that are pleasing to the eye and covetous. Peel off the lychee, inside is a layer of succulent white pulp. Just put the piece of cloth on the tip of the tongue, the sweetness has penetrated into the throat. Eat one fruit and then want to eat again, eat ten fruits and still not get bored. The seed is as small as the finger of a newborn baby. The smaller the seed, the sweeter the lychee. Lychee fruit is both delicious and nutritious. I really like the lychee harvest season to eat as much lychee as I can. Lychee fruit is now the main source of income for many families in my hometown, contributing to improving the lives of the poor in my hometown. There are many houses that have built high-rise buildings with income from lychee trees. After each lychee harvest season, many houses can buy TVs, motorbikes, refrigerators, etc. Lychee fruit is not only a favorite food of our people but also very popular with foreigners. Therefore, every year, lychee is also a source of high-value export goods of the people of my hometown.
This plant has helped the lives of the people in my hometown improve. I am very proud of this special plant of my hometown. I would like this plant to be planted more and more not only to increase my income but also to make my hometown stretch green and cool, an eco-tourism area.
