So when it comes to this topic, which is about one thing that I received for free from other people, the first thing that immediately pops up in my mind at the moment is the birthday cake from my very best friend. We have played together since I was in grade 1 so it means we almost reach the fifteenth year together, right? Actually, he is on his way going to my house. We will have some fun together after I finish the answer to this question.
Because he did not know and kept asking me what should he give me for my birthday, I just randomly said a cake because it was kinda cheap in the nearby store. So I guessed that he would buy it from my favourite cake store. Since I am a picky eater, I cannot stand the sweet flavour of the cakes sold at most of the stores. I only chose one and consume cake from that store but it was pretty far from my house. So I hope I could make the one for myself to manage the amount of sugar I put in. But unfortunately, I am a clumsy person so cooking or baking is like my horrible nightmare honestly. I still remember vividly this one time I made one cake, but it was a culinary disaster. From that moment, I gave up and have never tried baking again because I did not want to turn my kitchen into a mess.
But I did not expect that he would notice and remember what I had said. Since he is my very close friend, he knows what I like and so he made a special cake for me based on my preference. I was kinda surprised and moved since he cared about all the smallest things that I said. When I heard his mom say he spent tons of time and put effort into that cakes, I appreciated having a friend like him.
Until now, it is still my favourite one that I have ever had. I feel so lucky that I have a friend like him. If I can, I would love to be friends with him forever, I hope so.
