Describe a habit your friend has and you want to develop

So when it comes to this topic, which is about my friend’s habit that I want, the first thing that pops up in my mind is my friend’s habit of working and studying in a notebook of my friend. I know this because he is one of my best friends. In fact, we have a fourteen-year relationship and we are about to be together in the fifteenth year. It is really long, isn’t it? As a result, I understand him really clearly. 

Unlike him who always has a notebook in his bag, I always try to remember all the things without noting. He has started this habit since he was in high school. It was the time when there were tons of workload from homework and exams for us. At first, he did not have any significant performance, but when he used a notebook to jot down the key concept and get the gist of the lesson. His grade improved a lot.

And until now, he still remains in this habit. We go to the same university and same project. But he always finishes his work on time, while I usually miss the deadlines due to the fact that I do not remember what I need to do. It is because of that habit. For a new week, he usually makes a detailed plan so that he can keep track of his work easily, and for someday, he also makes a to-do list too. So yeah, he is always the person with the best performance in my team. He also gives me a notebook as a present, but, you know, I am kinda lazy, so yeah, I have not used it yet. 

So I guess that I will use it soon, you know, to make everything more easily and be recognised, I hope so.
