Every year, every spring, my family re-opens the boat race on the Red River. That morning, the two sides of the river through the 1,000-meter track, the drum beater, the trumpet, the fun and excitement. The track starts at the beginning of a village. Under the river, the boat race was lined up at the starting line. On the boat, the racers were healthy young men sitting in rows, hand paddle paddle.
Each team has a different coat color. At the time of departure, the trumpets floated up, the boats rushed quickly to the destination. The two sides of the river cheering cheers of viewers to disturb a river. My village team arrived first. The last part is the awards section, everyone has enough to congratulate the race.

Boat racing is the traditional culture of my hometown. I will study well, exercise for strong body to join the boat race.

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.
