My favorite city in Vietnam is Sapa, which is in the North. Sapa is located on high ground so it’s colder than other places in Vietnam. Sapa can have snow in the winter, which is very unusual for this country.
I love Sapa because of three reasons. The first reason is I want to see the scenery in Sapa. Sapa has a reputation for its spectacular views. Here, you can see a lot of things like forests, rice terraces, waterfalls, mountains, and hills. Places in Vietnam hardly ever have this many attractions to visit.
The second reason is I about the local food. There are some special dishes unique to this region, such as Thang Co, a horse meat soup, or Com Lam, bamboo cooked rice. The last reason is I want to go to the top of Fansipan mountain, which is the highest mountain in Vietnam. It’s 3143m high. To reach the top, you can go by cable car or walk yourself. At the top, you can see the clouds below. If it's a clear day, you can see the surrounding heart-stopping landscapes.
Overall, the city I like most is Sapa because of the three reasons: there are unique and breathtaking scenery, special cuisines, and going to the top of Fansipan mountain.
