So when it comes to this topic, which is about a favourite cake that I used to receive, the first thing that pops up in my mind is the strawberry birthday cake from my very best friend. We have known and played with each other since grade one so it means that we have a nearly-14-year relationship. I can say that we could be the best couple of friends among all of my mates.
Back to the topic, the reason why I call that cake a special one is because he made it all by himself. Since I am not a sweet tooth, I can’t stand the sweet flavour of the cakes at the store, so I always want to make a unique one for myself with a view to managing the amount of sugar. But unfortunately, I have to admit that I am a clumsy person so baking is not my thing. As a result, that line of thought soon disappeared from my mind.
Then, one day, I decided to try, but of course, it failed. I then just told him that story but I did not expect that he would remember it. Since he is my closest friend, of course, he knows what I like so he made a special cake for me. He just gave it to me and say nothing. A little bit about it, it was a bit awful but right after I ate it, it melted in my mouth with the exact flavour I like. I was kinda surprised and asked his mom. And guess what? She confirmed that it was all his efforts and also mentioned that he had had to try many times to find out the best one which was fit for my preference. Immediately, I came to his house and thanked him a lot. After that, we spend a lovely night together at his house. I really appreciated having a friend like just him.
Until now, it is still my favourite one that I have ever had. One more time, I confirm that I feel so lucky that I have a friend like him. If I can, I would love to be friends with him forever, I hope so.
