So, when it comes to this topic, which is about a person who is really good at solving problems that I know, the first one that immediately pops up in my mind at the moment is my best friend. We have known each other since I was in grade 1, so that means we have a fourteen-year relationship. It is pretty long, isn’t it? And I have just realised that we are about to be together in the fifteenth year. In fact, he is waiting for me outside, and we will hang out together after I finish answering this question.
So back to the topic, the reason why I call him an expert in solving problems is that he is definitely a good leader in my team. I mean, he always has a good way of dealing with disputes without offending other people. I still remember vividly this one time when we had to work with all strange people on a project in a new class. You know, since we and “the strange mates” did not know each other before, we just expected they would work well like our previous members. But our expectations were all wrong, and they were on the opposite side. They were too lazy on every single task the professor assigned us. They also sat there as the rocks and did not contribute ideas or efforts to our scheduled meetings.
Then, one day, when it was enough for me, I knew it was pretty rude, but I just wanted to shout and yell at their faces. Luckily, my friend calmed me down and started to make a stand. He started talking to my lecturer about our situation with all the pieces of evidence gathered about all previous work. Luckily, his plan worked, and the lecturer believed us. And he also asked us to have a detailed evaluation for every team member for him to grade. Then when telling other members, they were actually scared and then started to work.
I have to admit that without him, I would have made a big mistake without any good result. I have to say thanks to him a lot for that moment.
