Describe a person that you follow on social media

So when it comes to this topic, which is about one person that I really like and follow on social media, the first one that just pops up in my mind at the present is my idol, a famous Korean solo singer. She is not only famous in Korea but she is really welcomed by a lot of international K-pop fans. If I am not mistaken, the first time that I knew her was when I was in high school, about 5 or 6 years ago, I am not sure what exact time it was. It was the time I came across her viral video clip when I scrolling on Facebook. That video was about the life journey of her career, from zero to hero, and from the very first moment, I actually became one of her fans. I guess that I could see the determination inside her, and I was stuck because of this.

A little bit about her, she was a former candidate for a survival show. Throughout the competition, she had either low or high ranks in every weekly evaluation. To be honest, I was really worried for her because I knew that being an idol is all her life. So I always want to support her. Luckily, in the final announcement, which would create a girl group afterwards, she was fortunately called at the very last second. And she could debut and become the last piece in the group, creating a perfect girl group with 12 people. However, the group was only active for 2 years and a half given that it was not a permanent group. Finally, she ended up with a disbanded group. She had to come back to her company for her future. 

In spite of all her efforts at that time, she still kinda struggled since her company did not have any clear path for her to follow. As a big fan of her, I was kinda worried about whether she would still choose to continue as an idol or not. But that line of thought quickly was swept out because I knew her so clearly. Although I knew she was really down in the dumb, she still had a significant fire inside that she still wanted to become an idol one more time. As I expected, after a year with no news, she actually came back with a vengeance when making an outbreak debut.

Currently, she works as a soloist and she is one of the top artists in her company. Recently, she has released tons of attractive songs with colourful and catchy MVs. She also works as a creator of every musical product. The most significant thing is that she has created various trendy dance challenges that most Tiktok users would know, in Tiktok, one of the online platforms which easily makes everything become viral. To be honest, I want to keep it for myself since it is so embarrassing, but I have to say that I actually joined in one of her dance challenges. To support her songs, I have decided to join many times but I just posted a few of them. Although my video did not have many interactions as well as love from other people, I could still have a lot of fun with my idol.

Hopefully, I wish that I could meet her in person one day in the near future. It would be my biggest honour to do that. If having a chance, as a big fan of her, I will absolutely ask for her autograph and take pictures with her to keep it as my best memory. Maybe I can show all of my acquaintances that I have that chance. But all of that is just my dream. I will put effort into my study and be successful to have an opportunity to meet her in real life.

In the contemporary epoch, social media personalities bring a lot of influence to our lives. I follow numerous persons on social media to gain valuable people. However, there is one social media star whom I follow the most. During that time, one of my friends recommended I watch the videos of Khoai Lang Thang on Youtube. The day I had watched his first video, I became a big fan of him.

Khoai Lang Thang’s real name is Dinh Vo Hoai Phuong. He is a content creator on Youtube. Most of his videos have content about food, travel, and life. It can be said that I admire him because of his friendly, handsome appearance and lively, loving personality. At the beginning of the videos is always his bright smile that impresses viewers. After that, he will take viewers to explore the places he has been to. The places he goes are all new to me, that makes me curious and want to watch the whole video. Throughout the video, he will introduce each special cultural feature that he witnessed. There are very interesting cultures that make me wish to visit once. Sometimes, he will try to cook food that he has never eaten before, then taste it and give his review to viewers. What I like about him is his honest, frank reviews that makes me have more experience to travel to strange places.

Not only that, he often goes on volunteer trips to remote and isolated places. It shows that he is a kind and caring person. Today, a lot of channels with useless content appear. His channel is a useful channel that makes me love it above all. I really hope to meet him in real life once to talk and learn valuable experiences.
