A little bit about Vietnam, my beloved country, Vietnam is a South-East Asian country. Despite its small size, it has a great deal to offer in terms of travel on a shoestring budget! Whether it's the diverse landscapes, the plethora of activities for couples, families, or children, or the diverse culinary offerings. It is a safe haven for even lone travellers, as well as a fairly affordable destination. Vietnam has a lot to offer. We intend to visit Vietnam later this year. And if you haven't already put this gorgeous country on your vacation bucket list, now is the time to do so. We frequently end up doing Thailand, Bali, and Cambodia tours, but we frequently overlook Vietnam. For example, we recently returned from a two-week trip to Thailand. For the very first day, When travelling with family, especially children, I usually advocate leaving early in the morning. Today, upon arrival, we intend to simply check into our hotel. And take a break. Perhaps take a stroll in one of Hanoi's many public parks, observing local culture and daily life. We may also spend the evening viewing a water puppet show, which is a Hanoi specialty. And especially popular with children. You can purchase this skip-the-line ticket for the show to avoid long lines.
Then, on the second day, On the second day of our two-week Vietnam itinerary, I intend to book a tour of the city of Hanoi. This may involve a cycle-rickshaw tour through the ancient quarters, which children will undoubtedly enjoy. Then we may go on an expedition to the famous Red River. And ride through the streets of Hanoi, pausing here and there for some local shopping and enjoying the architecture of the buildings as well as temples.
On the third day, I leave Hanoi for a trip to the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. The journey takes approximately 4.5 hours. And the route is one of the most beautiful in Vietnam, passing through lovely green hills. Rice terraces and little rural villages dot the landscape. We can also arrange to visit and stay with one of the local families in the villages. What an adventure that would be!
On the fourth day out of the 2 weeks, Vietnam Itinerary with Family is set aside for a leisurely stroll through the villages, engaging with locals and taking in the scenery. One can gently make their way to the valley's bottom for a canoe voyage past the antique water wheels. Also, observe how the bamboo irrigation canals function.
The next day, Ninh Binh is another lovely location in Vietnam south of Hanoi. It is only a 2.5-hour drive away. We arrive here on the fifth day of our two-week trip to Vietnam with family. We can see the relics at Hoa Lu before taking a boat ride on Trang An. You can visit various limestone caves on this boat ride.
On the sixth day, A 2.5-hour journey away, Halong Bay is the launching point for a two-night cruise. "Junk" is the name of the sailing boat. Many of the islands along the road provide kayaking opportunities. And the garbage certainly comes to a halt on one. Kayaking with children will undoubtedly be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for them. Actually, we strongly advise you to enjoy this island hopping tour from Halong Bay for a great and stress-free experience.
On the 7th day out of the 2 weeks on the Vietnam Itinerary with family, We can continue our exploration of Halong Bay by taking a cruise. Because you will be spoiled for choice, plan ahead of time how to select the ideal Halong Bay cruise. Any of the gorgeous little islands can be visited when cruising through the bay. There are numerous activities available on these islands. Many of them are appropriate for families as well as young children. Such are kayaking, swimming, and fishing.
Moving to the next week, We aim to return to the mainland today after finishing our survey of the bay. And then spend the rest of the day relaxing. Because we are travelling with family and children, a light day in the centre of the program is ideal. We can take a night train to Hue at night. Before you leave, keep in mind that, like Halong Bay, Vietnam has many other lovely beaches. So, if you have a lengthier itinerary, make sure to incorporate some of them.
On the ninth day, I would relocate to Hue, a city with a historical charm. Here, visitors can tour the Imperial Citadel, take a cruise ride down the Perfume River, and visit the Thien Mu pagoda. The day can come to a close at Dong Ba marketplace. We strongly recommend this guided day trip to Hue to thoroughly grasp the city's historic history and rich culture.
On the tenth day, A magnificent seaside road journey connects Hue with Hoi An. It takes 3-4 hours, but the views are breathtaking. Hoi An is a historic commercial port city in Vietnam. The same may be said for its ancient streets as well as markets. Although there are many things to do in Hoi An, it is most famous for the Chinese lanterns that are illuminated in the streets when twilight falls. On the outskirts of town, several coastal areas have sprouted up. So, one might spend the night in one of these or one of the conventional hotels in town. When travelling with family, we would like a beach resort with all of the amenities for the children.
\On the eleventh day, We want to spend an extra day in Hoi An on the 11th day of our two-week Vietnam itinerary with relatives. This will allow us plenty of time to relax on the gorgeous beach or explore the farmer's stores. This is a fantastic tour to take when in Hoi An. It includes a market visit, a basket boat ride, and a cookery class! If you want to learn more about history, you can take this historic town leisurely stroll from Hoi An. We can go to Quy Nhon later in the evening.
On the twelfth day, Quy Nhon is a pretty tiny town with a few beaches, the Binh Dinh Museum, and the major pagoda. The pagoda is well-known for its 17-meter-tall Buddha. In the afternoon, one can also travel to Ho Kho Island to sunbathe, snorkel, and dive in crystal-clear seas.
On the thirteenth day, I'd fly back to Ho Chi Minh City. We can tour Ho Chi Minh City and everything it has to offer once we arrive. Cu Chi caves, Ancient Temples, War Remnants Museum, and bustling local markets are all highlights. Extend your plan and include some intriguing day tours surrounding Ho Chi Minh City if possible.
On the last day, I would take a day's rest to recharge the battery and buy some souvenirs for some of my friends.
