A disease known as COVID-19 or new Coronavirus, which is a member of the huge family of viruses known as the coronavirus, gained popularity in December 2019. (nCoV). Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 is the coronavirus strain that is responsible for the illness (SARS-CoV-2). The Coronavirus family of viruses is what causes the illness known medically as COVID-19, or Coronavirus. Although scientists and medical professionals are not unfamiliar with coronaviruses, this specific strain of the family, which causes COVID-19, is newly identified.

Humans have contracted the new coronavirus from animals. The Chinese province of Wuhan is where it first appeared. COVID-19 symptoms might appear 4 to 14 days after contracting the illness. Coronavirus symptoms may include the following: Fever, often high (over 100°F), cough, breathing problems (shortness of breath), exhaustion, body aches, runny noses, and sore, aching throat. The COVID-19 symptoms can range in strength from mild to severe. As the illness advances to its last stage, pneumonia and vomiting are among the most serious symptoms.

The initial human-to-animal transmission of COVID-19 occurred. There's a good chance that it started in the Huanan seafood market in Wuhan, China. Human-to-human transmission happens when an infected individual coughs or sneezes and releases respiratory droplets into the air. For up to three days, the COVID-19 virus may survive on plastic or stainless steel. The possibility exists that the virus might spread via stair handrails and spindles, door locks, elevator buttons, handlebars in trains and buses, tables, and chairs in hotels or busy areas.

In March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) designated COVID-19 to be an epidemic. In addition to infecting at least 35,659,007 people worldwide and taking thousands of lives, its panic has forced several nations to experience an economic downturn. Coronavirus has a detrimental effect on the global economy that is equal to that of the illness. Due to the coronavirus concern, several major cities across the world are under total lockdown. People isolated themselves to their homes for close to six months in order to stop the sickness from spreading, and all types of commercial transactions were entirely suspended. Employees were instructed to work from home while offices throughout the world were closed. The government's decision to halt all international flights to and from a country hurt the tourist industry as well. Everything came to a total stop, but now it's all back to normal, and people are back to work. How long a person can go without a job, thus people are leaving their homes all around the world. Despite being at high risk, people diligently adhere to the advice to prevent illness.

Within 4 to 10 days of contracting the illness, the early symptoms may show up. The earliest signs and symptoms resemble the flu, including fever, coughing, and breathing difficulties. In certain situations, symptoms including a sore throat, runny nose, or sneezing may appear. Some people may experience vomiting and diarrhea symptoms. In its last stages, the illness develops into pneumonia, which causes multiple organ failure and death.

Typically a respiratory condition, COVID-19 damages the lungs in its latter stages, making it harder for the patient to breathe and ultimately leading to death. Initial flu-like symptoms, such as fever, nausea, body aches, a cough, sore throat, etc., started to appear 4 to 10 days after the infection. The symptoms worsen when the diseases spread to other places of the body. When the infection spreads to the lungs, patches of a secretion made of protein block the lungs' ability to function. Breathing becomes difficult for the sufferers, which finally results in death.

By adhering to certain very fundamental social and personal hygiene guidelines, COVID-19 transmission can be stopped. The greatest strategy to prevent the transmission of sickness is to isolate yourself socially so that you don't contract it or transfer it to someone else. You can avoid being sick by routinely washing your hands with soap and avoiding touching your lips, eyes, and nose.

One thing is certain in the midst of the global COVID-19 crisis: a vaccine to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus won't be ready until 2021. As a result, the greatest option is to stop the infection from spreading from person to person. By controlling the spread of disease, the medical infrastructure won't be overworked. This increases the likelihood that current patients will recover since they will receive enough care and medical resources.

Social isolation is one of the most effective ways to stop the disease from spreading. According to the social distancing hypothesis, each person in society keeps a safe distance from others and avoids social gatherings, family members, and friends unless the situation is urgent. We will stop the outbreak by doing this because we will stop the virus from spreading to other individuals. The virus will eventually lose its effectiveness and become redundant if its transmission is stopped.

There is currently no cure for COVID-19, which is a relatively new disease in the international medical community. Putting both you and the sick individual in social isolation is the best course of action to combat the pandemic. Since there is now no cure for the coronavirus, prevention is always preferable. Many vaccinations are now being developed and will soon be on the market. The WHO has declared a pandemic of the coronavirus. As a highly contagious disease, the only practical defense against it at the moment is to stop it from spreading. We would be protecting our family and other people from the terrible virus as long as we kept our distance.
