Most people think that schoolmates make a child's progress more important than parents. Even though the appearance of friends has some positive impact, I strongly believe that parents make the child's success more significant.
It is undeniable that in a child achievement classmates play an important role as friends will assist each other. One example is when a child doesn't understand a lesson, he may ask his friends for help And then, whenever a child joins a sporting competition, his friends might be able to support him so motivate him. We could also cause negative stuff, given all the positive sides. One of the students, for instance, may be drug addicted, and he may be able to affect others to use it.
Most people agree that parents have bigger contributions than classmates to the academic study of a child. Even though they may not give the child technical advice, they give the child support and encouragement. For example, a child may have some difficulties with his exam and may have to study until late at night, his parents might offer some inspirational words that encourage him, and stay awake to accompany the boy. And then parents will also provide all the required funds to improve the academic study of the boy. For instance, a child may have some math problems, and the parents may be seeking a private tutor for their child.
In conclusion, I believe that schoolmates have a positive influence on the academic performance of a child, but I don't agree if people think classmates have more control than parents. I think parents are taking more key roles in the development of a child as they provide moral and financial support.
