Recently, the daily activities of humans both on land or in the ocean lead to the fact that a wide range of creatures is on the verge of extinction. This essay aims to shed light on some primary causes of this phenomenon before outlining some viable solutions to mitigate this problem.
To begin, humans are one of the main reasons why many animals are extinct. Firstly, deforestation is a prominent factor all around the world. To expand the residential area, people have to fell many trees, which might result in the destruction of the habitat of some wild species. Moreover, these animals have to figure out a new and appropriate place to survive. Otherwise, all of these creatures might end up dying out because they can not adapt to the modernised environment that is only suitable for humans. Secondly, the high demand for food may pose a significant threat to those living under the sea. Because of this, people have to exploit dramatically by intensively fishing all the ocean resources. As a result, it might be an end for those marine creatures since people do not let them have time for their reproduction.
To resolve some aforementioned causes, people, especially governments, need to adopt some measures. One of the easiest ways to deal with this issue is to raise people’s awareness. The government can invest in launching some campaigns and workshops where people can see how important to our lives. Consequently, they could modify the amount of their use in some products made from animals, such as clothing items and food. Furthermore, the national authorities can create some regulations related to animal rights for people to follow. It would be necessary to impose a heavy fine and have some stringent punishments on those violating the rules. By doing these, the animals would have more chances to survive without the interruption of humans.
In summary, there are several reasons that lead to the extinction of some animals. I believe that we could take the aforementioned measures to tackle this problem.
