In recent years, the mass media have been reporting so much on environmental issues, attracting a great deal of attention from the public. In Vietnam, the most recently representative event is the mass death of fish from Ha Tinh province to Quang Tri province, causing huge damage to the government till hundreds of billion Dong, affecting the lives of inhabitants here. Not only Vietnam, some other countries in the region and in the world also suffer from severe environmental pollution. For example, in Beijing, China, the amount of air pollution is in excess of the permitted level, most of people here have to live with respiratory diseases. To overcome this current issue, the governments of many governments have the different measures to minimize the amount of pollution emitted to the environment. Many activities have been encouraged such as recycling, reusing, reforestation, waste collection, using alternative energy and so on. There have been a number of global campaigns to raise awareness of citizens like the Earth Hour with slogans, posters such as 'Protect our Earth', 'Green Environment', etc. In Vietnam, the government has also passed many laws fining heavily the organizations and individuals. Step by step, we are trying our best to protect the environment, turning the Earth into a wonderful place to live. Hope that in the future, the environmental pollution will no longer be a concern.

The three main forms of pollution are water pollution, soil pollution, and air pollution. Air pollution is defined as the toxicity of the air caused by the mixing of contaminants. Water becomes polluted and unsafe to use due to the discharge of garbage and poisonous materials in it. Water contamination is the effect of this. The combination of substances in the soil is referred to as soil contamination. As a result, the land becomes unproductive and barren.

Natural and human-made factors can both contribute to air pollution. The primary contributor to air pollution is the admixture of gases in the atmosphere, which is brought on by smoke from vehicles, industries, fireworks, burning of agricultural waste, etc. Poor air quality has been linked to a number of illnesses, including cancer and asthma.

Water pollution is the contamination of bodies of water, such as oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, aquifers, and groundwater. Chemical fertilizers, industrial waste, sewage and wastewater, mining operations, marine dumping, etc. are some examples of these harmful compounds. Many individuals lose their lives to water pollution-related illnesses each year, including typhoid, diarrhea, and jaundice.

When there are several dangerous compounds present in the soil, soil contamination takes place. The majority of soil contamination is caused by industrial activities, agricultural chemicals, or inappropriate waste disposal. The causes of soil contamination might be either human-caused or natural occurrences.

The air we breathe and the water we drink both grow worse as a result of pollution. Without water and oxygen, life would be impossible for anyone to sustain themselves. People are becoming ill with various ailments as a result of pollution in the air, water, and soil. It can harm humans, animals, and the environment. Low rainfall and unfavorable climate change are both mostly caused by pollution. Some of its effects include acid rain, global warming, and others. The degradation of ecosystems and the depletion of natural resources are two of pollution's most obvious effects.

Each of us must do something to reduce pollution. More trees planted and less plastic used can help us reduce pollution. Recycling is another crucial action to do to reduce pollution. The Earth needs our help since pollution levels have been rising globally over the past few years. Natural resources that people rely on for a healthy way of life can be adversely impacted by pollution. Therefore, minimizing pollution is crucial for our ability to live healthy lives.

There are several actions that may be taken to limit the expanding pollution. The most important thing is to encourage everyone to plant more trees since they will absorb dangerous pollutants and purify the air. If we want to stop polluting our lovely world, we must start practicing the 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

Because rivers are a key supply of drinking water, we should take care not to discharge toxic substances into them. In addition, we have the option to ride in a carpool or use the public transit system. Reducing the use of loudspeakers, horns, pyrotechnics, and similar devices will also aid in pollution management.

The lives of defenseless animals are also being taken by pollution, not only those of people. Thus, it is imperative that we band together and begin the battle against pollution. Every time you discuss global pollution, keep in mind that over time, even the smallest alteration will eventually result in a more significant one.

In recent years, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of people suffering from respiratory and digestive diseases. In conclusion, environmental pollution is a matter taking a lot of concern. It is time for us to take action to overcome this current issue, to protect our own lives.

It is time, we need to join hands to combat environmental pollution with specific actions: using natural resources economically, prioritizing environmentally friendly products, actively participating in the activities of international organizations, harshly condemning acts of destroying the environment ... Protecting the environment is not just the job of the government or scientists. These are the duties, responsibilities and interests of all of us.
