It is not always easy for ordinary people to travel to remote jungles or well-known national parks to observe numerous species. All of these species are extremely difficult to see in their natural ecosystems. It is also quite risky for people to take their kids on forest safaris to observe animals, birds, reptiles, and so on. As a result, they love visiting wildlife parks, and it is highly entertaining for children to view various animals at the zoo while being fully protected.
In a zoo, a large range of animals, birds, and beasts are kept in cages. Zoo also preserves animals of unusual species. Many birds and other animals are imported from other countries. This allows the tourists an opportunity to witness such creatures and birds of rare kinds transported from faraway places, which they could haven't seen otherwise.
An African lion, an Australian kangaroo, a gorilla, a monkey, a zebra, a white tiger, white peacocks, a polar bear, various parrots and parakeets, large pythons, and giant crocodiles are all fostered and preserved in zoos.
Zoos are assisting in the conservation of animals as well as birds that may become endangered in this world. The species that are threatened or endangered are saved in zoos. The zoo houses nearly a thousand different animal, bird, and beast species. Some zoos practice breeding culture, particularly captive breeding. This is a tremendous assistance in protecting endangered species and preventing their extinction.
These zoos as well as their maintenance genuinely prove that mankind has an amazing love for animals. Man cannot deny that these animals, birds, reptiles, and mammals are part of nature. People can witness the wide range of animals that live on this planet. People can engage, learn, and grow with various animal species.
A trip to the zoo brings us closer to these living creatures. It causes humans to develop a fondness for animals and birds. They get to understand so much about these creatures too. Zoos are also important in terms of geography. They have an important role in unifying and teaching various groups. When we witness a kind of animal transported from another country, we discover how and where the creatures live, the environment, and the natural habitat where they thrive.
A zoo's upkeep is a massive undertaking. Animals, birds, reptiles, and fishes, from foreign areas with distinct climatic conditions are to be maintained in such environment, weather, and warmth that matches that of their natural home. These creatures would perish if that arrangement was not followed correctly. In the scorching summers, tigers and lions require a body of water to keep cool. A gorilla or even a chimpanzee requires trees and beautiful green places to walk around.
All of these creatures must be fed in accordance with their natural tastes and appetites. Every meal must have the appropriate amount of uncooked meat for a leopard, lion, or tiger. A vegetarian diet should be offered to a gorilla or a monkey. There are several animals that should be fed fish. The python is capable of swallowing a full goat and hence, it should be fed suitably, without killing any other existing being near it.
Touring a zoo is not only entertaining, but it also educates us a lot. It teaches us a lot about the behaviours and tastes of many animals, creatures, and birds. A zoo must have its own qualified, professional, and competent medical staff as well as veterinary doctors. Many diseases damage the animals in zoos. If these diseases begin to spread, they could be fatal to the wildlife park as a whole. Sometimes these animals endure extensive operations and therapies for the diseases. All of it must be taken good care of in a wildlife park.
We visitors, from time to time, endanger the lives of these creatures and birds. To provide food to the animals, we throw some stuff in plastic bags into their cages out of enthusiasm. Plastic bags are frequently swallowed by animals along with their food. The plastic becomes lodged in their intestines, causing major complications and, in some cases, death. In addition, in order to have some entertainment, visitors occasionally endanger their own lives. Visitors experiment with wild animals out of curiosity, which can become violent if provoked.
The people coming to zoos, primarily children, should be appropriately oriented and prevented from such acts. The zoo authorities must also look after the animals' emotional well-being. If the animals are not adequately cared for, they may acquire stereotypic traits or possibly die prematurely. Thus, zoological parks assist us in learning, growing, and having pleasure. They aid in bringing humans closer to nature. Through these parks, we can learn about and experience God's amazing creations.
My family and I went to the zoo last Sunday. It was a beautiful sunny day for a trip to the zoo. When we arrived at the zoo at 8 a.m., there was a large crowd gathered right in front of the entrance. Some were purchasing admission tickets, while others were conversing and appreciating the weather. We approached the zoological area and came upon a lovely lake teeming with ducks as well as white swans. The raft of white swans on the surface of the lake was a wonderful sight for us.
We got closer and noticed an arena with fowls. Different coloured parrots, pigeons, eagles, as well as sparrows, were chirping. The magical melodies sung by the birds pleased us. We listened to it for a while and enjoyed it. We spotted leopards as lions, tigers as well as tigresses, relaxing and wandering in the next fenced enclosure. When we reached the net of the contained area, a lion charged at us, frightening us. The shouts of the lion were thunderous. Its expression was also terrifying.
We walked on to look just at the den of a tiger. Its claws and teeth and flashing brilliance startled us. It started to walk towards us beautifully, but its scream frightened us away. We also spotted elephants and bears. It was a treat to see majestic elephants spinning their trunks in the air. In addition, the scene of bears joyously interacting with each other warmed our hearts.
We then came upon a garden area in which deer as well as stags were strolling. These animals were incredibly playful, intelligent, gorgeous, and entertaining to watch. We came to a large tree in one of the corners, where baboons, as well as monkeys, were hopping from one branch to the other. They were really energetic and amusing. The term "electronic commerce" refers to the sale of electronic goods. Some of them even fell when they were fed bananas.
Children liked creating faces at them while playing. Our next stop was a large aquarium filled with fish of various colours and sizes. It was entertaining to watch them fidget in the water. We also witnessed a group of dolphins enjoying themselves in the ocean. Just ahead of the fish tank we came across an exhibit with sorrowful and lonely grizzly bears. We fed them and went on to the next enclosure to cheer them up. A large crowd had gathered around the black bear's cage. The people were enthralled by the bear's antics.
Some people would give him food, which he gladly accepted. Then we saw a pool full of ferocious crocodiles and other water creatures. The crocodiles had defined their domain for the other water animals. We also observed some snakes, including pythons and cobras. The hissing of the anacondas caused us to walk away from such an enclosure. We sat back and enjoyed the relaxing aroma of the wildflowers in the garden after going one full round of the zoo. The calming, tranquil wind created the ideal setting for relaxation. We enjoyed the magnificent view with some drinks and snacks. As the sun began to drop, we exited the zoo, boarded the bus, and went with a last look at the zoo. I am still overwhelmed with joy and happiness when I recall the wonderful moments and memories.
Visiting a zoo allows us to learn a number of things about the different species of animals apart from the fun as well as frolic that we enjoy. We get to learn about the preferences and behaviours of a wide range of birds, animals, reptiles, as well as creatures. A zoo is a location that lets us get closer to the living beings with whom we share this planet, such as animals, birds, reptiles, insects, and so forth. It tells us about the equilibrium between animal species and their environments. It demonstrates that species diversity is just as vital as human life. It tells us even more about the magnificent creations of God on our earth.
