The social hierarchy and inequalities must be eliminated in order to fully implement these rights. The core of one societal wrong, which we refer to as "gender discrimination," yet persists in Vietnam despite several efforts.

People may be treated differently according to a variety of factors, including their culture, where they reside, the color of their skin, their socioeconomic rank, and even their gender, in addition to numerous fundamental rights. When individuals treat men and women differently due to their gender, this is known as gender discrimination. This is a harmful activity that might have a negative impact on society's citizens.

Gender-based discrimination has long been prevalent across the world. This erroneous notion got its start due to a misinterpretation of how each gender functions in society. Although there is a lot of prejudice, everyone in society aspires to have the same rights and access to the same resources. Men and women facing prejudice is the most frequent type.

One out of every three women in the globe has experienced some kind of harm from men at some time in their life. Another significant factor contributing to men and women not enjoying equal rights is poverty. All around the world, women still have a lower likelihood of attending college than males do.

There are various reasons for gender discrimination. Illiteracy must be the worst of these. People's perspectives are another factor. Boys are good at sports, academics, and employment, while girls are adept at home duties, we are all told. The patriarchal structure of our culture also has a significant impact. In this culture dominated by men, men are viewed as superior and women as weak. Women are the primary victims of crime and they commit the majority of them. This society also demonstrates that women are less strong and lack the ability to advocate for themselves. Because males are conditioned to let women down, this has a negative impact on their personalities.

The effects of gender-based discrimination on society as a whole are numerous. It has an impact on all aspects of society, not just one particular segment. It has an impact on young people because it alters their behavior, academic pursuits, aspirations, attitudes, and other factors. In society, prejudice of this nature breeds hates injustice and many other negative emotions. How gender disparity harms the economy is seen in the proportion of male and female pupils in elementary and secondary schools. The globe is producing fewer females as a result of gender inequality.

Vietnam has a serious problem with gender inequality, which has a wide range of effects on Vietnamese women and girls. Girls are more likely to experience sexual assault, exploitation, or death. Additionally, they have a higher likelihood of being married early and experiencing domestic abuse. Women do not have the same rights as males in Vietnam.

Only if people are taught that persons of all genders deserve equal rights and respect can gender discrimination be put to an end. The best way to address this significant issue in society is to treat women equally and grant them the same rights as men. To help girls feel more secure in school, a gender-sensitive curriculum that matches national policy on gender equality has to be improved. Increasing awareness of gender discrimination can stop it. The only factor that influences individuals to think more critically is education. However, mindsets must shift first.

Everyone deserves a decent start in life, whether they are a man or a woman, and receiving an education will help them achieve equality in the workforce. Women are setting positive examples everywhere, therefore we should recognize this and grant them equal rights. Because God created everyone equally, we have no right to treat them differently depending on their gender. Today's society is plagued with gender-based discrimination. Regardless of ethnicity, gender, or age, no one wants to feel like they are being mistreated. In order to eradicate gender discrimination as quickly as possible, we should battle this societal scourge.
