In terms of daily living, Singapore is no different than any other island. People are extremely friendly and pleasant. The country is full of gorgeous buildings and architecture that combine modern and traditional art. Singapore is spectacular at night. The lights reflect in the river, and the skyline turns a brilliant red. The buildings are adorned with colourful lights that sparkle brightly, giving them a wonderful overall appearance. Those who work the whole day get to experience this nightlife and frequently spend supper time in various eateries. People are not always at work. They take vacations at various times of the year and attend various local and international events held during the year. Choose Singapore if you can't decide where to enjoy your next New Year's Eve. All you need is the best fireworks show and an awesome parade.

In terms of weather, Singapore has a tropical climate due to the presence of a rainforest. Throughout the year, it is mainly warm and rainy. There are no established seasons. The humidity can be excessive, and precipitation can fall anytime it likes, yet it does not last long and frequently refreshes the soil. People must dress appropriately for the weather, therefore light clothing is worn.
