I am a fan of nostalgic, even romantic music in a subtle sense. Although I like listening to music from a variety of genres, ballads are by far my favorite. The lyrics are tragic, the music is slow-paced, and the whole tone is melancholy, which is pretty significant. I often listen to these songs on my computer or on my MP3 player with headphones, which is rather important. I'm a sensitive girl, so if I'm depressed, all I have to do is put on my MP3 player and let the music effectively reflect how I'm feeling, contrary to common opinion. Ballads make me feel nostalgic and really remind me of pretty good times. Every time a ballad is played, I am transported back to my very early years and the good times I had with my family, friends, and ex-lovers. This genre opens the door to my history.  Even though I'm sad that the general past is gone, I'm also excited about all the amazing memories I essentially have in store for the future. A ballad can also cause me to dream about sort of past experiences, which essentially makes me feel a little happier when I wake up, pretty further demonstrating how, while I'm kind of sorry that the pretty past is gone, I'm also excited about all the amazing memories I generally have in store for the future, which particularly shows that this music literally makes me specifically feel melancholy but attractive. It truly possesses every aspect of a musical style that I actually seek, which demonstrates that, while I adore listening to music in a variety of genres, ballads are the ones that I most enjoy, which is essentially significant.
